Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Fire Damage Restoration Colorado Springs handles, how it is used and shared, and the choices and rights you have. Effective date: October 30, 2026.
Who we are
This website, firedamagerestorationcoloradosprings.com (the "Site"), is a call-in referral service. When you call the number shown on the Site, your own call is connected to an independent restoration contractor who speaks with you on that call.

Scope of this policy
This policy applies to information handled through the Site and through phone calls you place to the numbers shown on the Site. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to the Site and its operator.
It does not cover the independent contractors your call is connected to. Once you are speaking with a contractor, or if you arrange anything with them, their own privacy practices apply to the information they collect. You can ask a contractor about those practices during your call.
A call-in service only
The Site has no forms, no account sign-up, no newsletter and no chat. We do not ask you to submit your name, address, email address or other contact details through the Site, and we do not collect contact details so that anyone can contact you later.
We do not make outbound calls, send text messages or send emails to you, and we do not use your information for marketing. We do not pass your details to anyone so that they can contact you. Anything arranged after your call, such as a visit, is agreed directly between you and the contractor during the call.
Information we handle
- Call informationWhen you call, our telephone service provider processes the information needed to connect and route the call, such as your phone number, the time and length of the call and the general area associated with the number. Calls may be recorded for quality and dispute resolution; if they are, you will be told at the start of the call.
- What you say on the callDetails you choose to share, such as your ZIP code and a description of the damage, are heard by the contractor you are connected to, and are part of any call recording.
- Technical informationLike most websites, the Site's hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps in server logs, to deliver the Site and keep it secure.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect payment information.
- We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, health information or financial account details.
- We do not buy personal information from data brokers.
- We do not use advertising trackers or build advertising profiles.
How information is used
- To connect your call to an independent restoration contractor who serves your area.
- To operate, secure and maintain the Site and the call service, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To review call quality and resolve disputes, where calls are recorded.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
Retention
Call records and any recordings are kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including quality review, dispute resolution and legal compliance, and are then deleted or de-identified. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards suited to the limited information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the Colorado Privacy Act and similar laws in other states may give you the rights below. We honor these requests for all users where we reasonably can.
- AccessYou can ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy.
- CorrectionYou can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- DeletionYou can ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt outYou can opt out of any sale of personal information or targeted advertising. We do neither, but you may still make the request.
- AppealIf we decline a request, you can appeal our decision by contacting us again, and we will explain the outcome.
- Non-discriminationWe will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
How to make a request
Make a privacy request by calling the number shown on the Site and saying you have a privacy request, or through the contact page. Because we handle very little information, we may need details such as the phone number you called from and the approximate date of the call to find relevant records. We will verify requests in a reasonable way and respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need more time as the law allows. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults dealing with property damage. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
The Site links to government agencies, standards bodies and other third-party sites for reference. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
